paint correction & polishing

Paint correction is the mechanical leveling of clear coat or paint (clear coat is unpigmented paint, clear) to a point where all the paint is free of swirl marks and light scratches. ... For example, not everyone needs or should have “perfect paint,” some are simply ok with much better, not perfect.

Paint correction is the process of restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of a vehicle, mostly through the elimination of surface imperfections, that dull, oxidize, or haze the surface by reflecting light off in various directions, therefore detracting from a true and proper, clean, sharp, reflection. These imperfections include things like swirl marks & fine scratches, bird dropping etching & acid rain etching, hologramming & buffer trails, and random isolated deep scratches (or RIDS). Some scratches require some wetsanding to ensure proper leveling of the clear coat.

All vehicles are closely inspected before going under the knife of paint correcting. We hold high standards when it comes to final product to leave our shop. All vehicles receive a minimum of 10 hours of correction time to get to our standards of perfection.
